Severely handicapped woman must have chair lift for stairway

Andrea (not her actual name) is a severly handicapped woman in her 30's who lives with her single mother. All these years the mother has bravely fought to have her daughter remain home. And she has succeeded! But it reached a point where the mother was no longer able to get her daughter up and down the stairs of their townhouse. JSS stepped in where other efforts failed. With the help of  a few wonderful folks in the community, added to our own funds, we were able to have a $9,000 chairlift installed. The tireless efforts of two board members made this happen!
