A 501 (C3) charitable organization. The Jewish Social Service Committee has no salaries, fund raising costs,  or overhead. Our clients come to us  through referrals from Jewish Family and Vocational Services, local Rabbis and synagogues, and the Jewish Federation of Greater Middlesex County. 

The Jewish Social Service Committee is a unique organization in our community. For more than 100 years we have been the only all volunteer organization giving immediate short term financial aid to needy Jewish people in Middlesex County. We are the only organization that has no expenses. Every dollar donated is used to help the needy.
